'Sophicles was a steel hull sailing ship, hence the rust down the side of the hull. She sailed from the UK to Australia and various other locations. I painted this in oil on a 100 by 80 cm canvas. The person I sold it to later told me it was stolen in a burglary on his home in Wales, maybe one day it will turn up, fortunately I captured an image of the painting for you to enjoy. MACKENZIE MOULTON ARTIST Mackenzie Moulton, born 21st June 1947 in Exeter, Devon, England. The first son of an English father and Scottish Mother and an Irish Grandfather. A result of which he has a deep Celtic origin. His talent recognised at an early age and a year before leaving school at 15, was invited to attend Exeter Art College at weekends to study Sculpture.
