Jeremy asked me to post the one painting I have of the River Clyst. The Bridge Inn Topsham where my brothers and I used play folk music, we had been going here for over fifty years on and off, they sell real ale and its one of the oldest independent pubs in the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth stopped here for a drink when she was on a tour of Devon and they brewed a special beer. The River Clyst flows past the pub and ends up in the River Exe. It was another childhood place we frequented in the summer months, laying on the river bank, looking at the fish in the water, watching the dragon flies, and trying to catch the occasional trout by tickling their belly. Oil on a 30 by 20 inch canvas.
