The Flying Dutchman, a ghost ship appears as the ship is engulfed by a freak large wave, in the sky the sailors see the clouds have turned into the hand of doom. When we are in mortal danger and in fear of our life the mind can make us see strange things and to the sailors the large wave becomes 'The Flying Dutchman' Painted in oils on a 100 by 80 inch canvas. MACKENZIE MOULTON ARTIST Mackenzie Moulton, born 21st June 1947 in Exeter, Devon, England. The first son of an English father and Scottish Mother and an Irish Grandfather. A result of which he has a deep Celtic origin. His talent recognised at an early age and a year before leaving school at 15, was invited to attend Exeter Art College at weekends to study Sculpture. Over the past 65 years he has concentrated on painting as opposed to sculpture and has Exhibited in London, Kent, Devon, Newcastle, Durham and Scotland in the UK and New York, El Paso, Dallas and Connecticut in the USA. and in Spain.
