Artist's Description
Wapping Lane, Wapping at a time when the docks were fully operational and the swing bridge in Wapping lane would open for large cargo ships, a favourite excuse for being late for work was, 'the bridge was up', On the right is the convent (is it still there? on the left is a shop, no longer there and I think the bridge is now fixed. A little bit of Wapping history and a talking piece for your home, especially if its in Wapping London. I painted this on a 16 by 20 inch canvas now you can enjoy it in print canvas print or cards.
