Title
Wapping Thames Police Station and rebuilt St Johns Wharf London
Artist
Mackenzie Moulton
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
I painted this painting after St Johns Wharf was rebuit to its original specifications after it caught fire, so I have painted three paintings of this scene you can choose from, This more modern one around 1987, before that around 1960's and before that 1937, what a choice and paintings in history of this area. This painting shows the more modern fast twin screw police boats provided for faster response, and to allow the police authority to close down unnecessary police stations. Next to St Johns is a wharf that contained a rope makers now turned into a pub called The Captain Kid. painted on a 16 by 20 inch canvas
Enjoy. Mac 😊🎻🎨
