Bluff House, Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. I painted this over 20 years ago after my wife and I spent Christmas at Bluff House. We met another English couple also spending Christmas there, and they commissioned me to paint Bluff House. It was a large Commission 49 inches long by 24 inches high. In August 2019 Hurricane Dorian completely destroyed Bluff House, and many more buildings on the Island. In 2020 I was contacted by Jan, a lady who was involved in the reconstruction of a New Bluff House. She asked if the painting was for sale. I contacted my friend Terry, who was living in Tenneriffe and he was willing to sell it to her. The long process of the getting it to me to make sure it was clean and touched up if necessary began, the delivery to Florida, and eventually the main building of Bluff Hose, where it now hangs for all to see, along with my book 'Mac the Life', on a table next to the painting, so guest can read about the Artist.
MACKENZIE MOULTON ARTIST Mackenzie Moulton, born 21st June 1947 in Exeter, Devon, England. The first son of an English father and Scottish Mother and an Irish Grandfather. A result of which he has a deep Celtic origin. His talent recognised at an early age and a year before leaving school at 15, was invited to attend Exeter Art College at weekends to study Sculpture. Over the past 65 years he has concentrated on painting as opposed to sculpture and has Exhibited in London, Kent, Devon, Newcastle, Durham and Scotland in the UK and New York, El Paso, Dallas and Connecticut in the USA. and in Spain.
