I looked for a picture that would express the awesome power of the sea and the comparative helplessness of a small sailing ship. My search is over. There is so much movement in Mac's picture in the threatening sky and sea and the vessel battling against the elements. When I look at it, I can experience the ship's struggle. Just glad I am not on board!

MACKENZIE MOULTON ARTIST Mackenzie Moulton, born 21st June 1947 in Exeter, Devon, England. The first son of an English father and Scottish Mother and an Irish Grandfather. A result of which he has a deep Celtic origin. His talent recognised at an early age and a year before leaving school at 15, was invited to attend Exeter Art College at weekends to study Sculpture. Over the past 65 years he has concentrated on painting as opposed to sculpture and has Exhibited in London, Kent, Devon, Newcastle, Durham and Scotland in the UK and New York, El Paso, Dallas and Connecticut in the USA. and in Spain.
