Waterloo Bridge and Waterloo floating Police Station London
Artist
Mackenzie Moulton
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
This was a commission where they wanted me to paint The Metropolitan Police, Thames Division Whaler Team. In the background is the only floating police station in the world then named Waterloo Pier Police Station, it now belongs to the RNLI, who took over use of the pier when Thames division was centralised to Wapping Thames Police Station. In the waling boat at the stern is the cox and trainer Don Bartlet, who the painting was commissioned for on his retirement form Thames Division. As the artist I have the copyright to reproduce my work for others to enjoy in print or canvas.
